Programme & Performance Analyst

Description:

Purpose of Role: As a Programme and Performance Analyst within our Transport & Parking division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. Working closely with the Transport Contracts & Performance Manager, you will track project delivery and outcomes, maintain program information, and analyse data to support data-led decision making and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure understanding of project objectives and to report on project performance.
Ensure timely submission of project management documentation, including program trackers, change control processes, and project plans.
Ensure compliance with the Council's Programme and Project Management System, clarifying roles and responsibilities within the project delivery team.
Contribute to the development of robust business cases and identify project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Design process maps and procedures for the division, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and standards.
Collate, analyse, and interpret data to develop performance data dashboards and support decision making.
Manage internal governance processes and oversee delivery partners and consultancy support.
Monitor training plans and undertake continued professional development.Employee Specification:

Experience in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring using Microsoft Project.
Proficiency in analysing and presenting complex data sets using Excel, Power BI, and Word.
Ability to review processes and suggest improvements.
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Ideally, experience in the public sector with knowledge of transport or built environment.Qualifications:

A project management qualification is desirable.
A degree in transport, environment, or related field is desirable
