Location - Staffordshire

What will you be doing?
●Leading the delivery of complex operational technology and IT programmes for major energy network clients and their delivery partners
●Acting as the senior client interface, building strong relationships and keeping delivery aligned with client objectives
●Overseeing the full project lifecycle, from early opportunity development and FEED through to design, testing, commissioning and handover
●Managing programme budgets, schedules, risk and change control, including NEC3/NEC4 contract obligations
●Providing leadership and line management to Project Managers and wider delivery teams, building a high-performing, safety-focused culture
●Championing a positive safety culture across high-hazard operational environments
●Reporting on progress, budget and risk to both internal stakeholders and clients
Where you'll be doing it
You'll be joining a well-established advanced systems integration business focused on operational technology and digital transformation, delivering critical projects in highly regulated environments such as energy, water, renewables and manufacturing. The business works closely with major electricity transmission and distribution operators and their partner organisations across the UK.
What you'll need
●At least 10 years' experience in project, programme or portfolio management, ideally within energy networks, power generation or civil/defence nuclear sectors
●A strong track record of delivering large-scale, complex, client-facing projects
●Comprehensive knowledge of the energy networks industry or similarly regulated sectors
●Experience working to NEC3/NEC4 contracts
●Proven experience leading and developing cross-functional teams
●Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the confidence to communicate technical detail to non-technical audiences
●Professional certification such as APM, PRINCE2, MSP or MoP (preferred)
●Skilled in identifying and mitigating project risk, with a calm, strategic approach under pressure
