This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the organisation's AI capabilities and driving technology-enabled transformation.

We are looking for a proactive and delivery-focused programme leader with a strong background in technology change, stakeholder management, and programme governance. Working closely with senior business leaders, technology teams, Product Owners, and external partners, you will coordinate the successful delivery of AI initiatives, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure programmes achieve their intended business outcomes. This is a full-time, six-month hybrid contract opportunity, with ad hoc attendance in Nottingham required.

Accountabilities:

Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of AI and technology programmes, ensuring successful outcomes aligned to business objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology initiatives on time and within scope.
Manage programme roadmaps, milestones, budgets, dependencies, and resource requirements.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business priorities and programme delivery.
Support the implementation and adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies across the organisation.
Identify, manage, and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain delivery momentum.

Ensure all initiatives comply with organisational governance, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, technology partners, and third-party suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement by embedding best practices in programme management, delivery, and change adoption.

Skills:

Proven experience managing large-scale technology, transformation, or AI-related programmes within complex organisations.
Strong understanding of AI, automation, digital technologies, and their practical business applications.
Demonstrable track record of delivering complex programmes that create measurable business value.
Experience developing business cases, managing budgets, and overseeing programme governance.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess risks, opportunities, and investment decisions.
Experience managing programme risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges in fast-paced environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Highly collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive approach to driving change and innovation.
Previous experience within the energy, utilities, or other regulated sectors would be advantageous.
