We’re looking for a delivery-focussed Programme Manager to join a Project Management Office at the PPF. You’ll play a crucial role in overseeing a programme or subset of projects within our change portfolio, ensuring that business outcomes are met.
Report to the Head of PMO, this position is responsible for delivering change by the magnitude of the task and to be more agile. Ensuring delivery is managed within time, cost and quality parameters, solutions are identified and delivered, stakeholders are communicated with effectively to ensure business relations are maintained and provide appropriate and measured guidance and support in line with what’s best for the organisation and its members.
This role will also have line management responsibility, managing a small team of project managers and/ or other PMO staff, so it will be responsible for providing support and coaching to ensure that the team deliver on high quality of standards.
Our ideal applicant will have demonstrable experience of managing Programmes and / or large projects with business, technology or security drivers, delivering successful outcomes for wider business units. They will have experience of Agile and PRINCE2 framework principles within a technology and change function and hold a recognised Programme Management and / or Project Management qualification / certification. E.g. MSP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications.
Applicants will have the technical awareness and an understanding of core technology functions, allowing for excellent stakeholder management and communication. This position requires experience of line management, providing leadership and coaching for team members to deliver successful outcomes and support personal development.
