Programme Manager - Warminster, Hybrid - Security Cleared - Up to £100,000

We're looking for an experienced Program Manager to take ownership of the successful delivery of a large-scale, long term defence transformation programme.

The Role

As Program Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple programme workstreams, bringing together requirements, governance, delivery plans and commercial priorities into one cohesive roadmap.

Working closely with customers, consortium partners, technical specialists and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure delivery remains on track, risks are managed effectively and programme objectives are achieved throughout the full project lifecycle.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on programme leadership in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the successful delivery of complex software and services programmes from planning through to deployment and ongoing support.
Manage multiple programme workstreams, consolidating priorities into a clear delivery roadmap.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and senior stakeholders.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, consultancy, product and support.
Oversee governance, reporting, planning and programme assurance activities.
Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
Ensure delivery meets contractual, quality and security requirements.
Support forecasting, commercial performance and budget management.
Contribute to bids, proposals and future programme growth opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement across programme delivery processes and governance.

About You

You'll be an experienced Programme or Program Manager with a proven background delivering complex technical projects within defence, government or another highly regulated sector.

You'll also bring:

Strong experience leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary programmes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior customers and partners.
Experience managing budgets, delivery schedules, resources and commercial considerations.
A solid understanding of governance, risk management and quality assurance.
The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining clear communication and structure.
Outstanding organisational, presentation and leadership skills.

Desirable Experience

Defence or Ministry of Defence programme delivery.
Working within consortium or prime contractor environments.
Software product or COTS solution delivery.
Digital transformation or enterprise software programmes.
Agile delivery methodologies (SAFe or similar).
PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or Agile certifications.Please note: Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
