Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a global, automotive company recruit a Program Buyer to work within a dedicated purchasing function, this full-time role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package, and can offer hybrid working arrangements.
As a Program Buyer, you will be responsible for the purchasing activities related to the program of works coming through the business. You will also be responsible for the Quality,Cost & delivery of suppliers, you are also responsible for budget associated with the program.
In your first few weeks in this Program Buyer role, you can expect to:
Be responsible with the commodity buyer for sourcing activities
Manage the closed purchase order for project and follow payment schedule
Handle PPAP on time, project hours, contribution to cash in and cash out.
To apply for this new Program Buyer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
Three to five years of first-tier automotive experience and associated suppliers
Experience of program purchasing
Finance and cash management skills
Experience in technical negotiations
Knowledge of Company and Commercial law.
CIPS qualification is an advantage
