Production Workshop Supervisor

£35,000 - £42,000

What you'll be doing:

Set a positive example by maintaining a consistently safe and efficient workplace.
Oversee and assign technician workloads effectively.
Ensure company quality standards are met, satisfying both internal and external customers.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are achieved.
Conduct team briefs focused on quality, cost, and delivery, and gather ideas for improvement.
Manage workshop calibration and maintenance according to schedules.
Provide training to apprentices as needed.
Drive team performance by offering direction and feedback to enhance performance.
Maintain safe working practices and adhere to 'Standard Operations'.
Address non-conformance issues and implement countermeasures.
Motivate the team to foster a high-performance culture that embraces improvement suggestions.
Assist in implementing engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds.
Report and take action on plant or machinery breakdowns.
Collaborate closely with the QEHS department on any issues.
Ensure internal delivery processes are followed to support dispatch.And this is what you'll need:

Extensive experience and a proven track record in manufacturing supervision.
Proven experience of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Comprehension of production costs, including waste, downtime, scrap, and rework would be advantageous.
Any experience in mechanical fitting would be advantageous.And this is what you'll get:
