Job Title Production Welder
Site location Ashton-in-Makerfield
Responsible to Production Manager
Responsible for Manufacturing welded steel components with use of MIG welding guns
KEY INFORMATION
Reason for vacancy Increased demand
Contract Temp to perm
Basic pay £13.50ph, 1.5x basic rate for overtime
Shifts Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm, Fridays 8am-12.30pm
Holidays Accrual whilst agency (21 days + BH once permanent)
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role Our client based in Wigan is recruiting for Production Welders to join their busy team on full time temp to perm contracts. The responsibilities of this role are as follows -
* MIG Welding
* Working in a fast-paced environment
* Production style welding in a variety of positions
* Finishing and quality assurance of products
* Manual handling of products and equipment
* All welding completed in jigs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
·Previous MIG welding experience
·Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
·Good level of verbal and written English
