The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for machine set-up, tool changes, fault finding and quality inspections to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
  
You'll become a key member of the production team, helping to minimise downtime, maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
Key Responsibilities

Carry out machine set-ups and tool changes
Diagnose and resolve machine faults and production issues
Raise maintenance requests and report equipment concerns
Complete routine quality and safety inspections
Conduct visual and functional product checks
Perform colour changes in accordance with operating procedures
Implement corrective actions to resolve quality concerns
Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives   
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

A Level 2 qualification in Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance or a similar discipline
Experience working within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
A proactive and hands-on approach to work
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement   
Applicants from automotive, maintenance engineering, manufacturing, machinery, servicing and mechanical backgrounds are all encouraged to apply.
