Production Technician

Description:

A competent Technician with proven experience of working within a High-Tech Electronics/ Mechanical Manufacturing environment; with proven assembly, soldering and wiring experience will join the production team of an award-winning Technology Company. Experience with optical related products highly beneficial. Generous Salary on offer.
The Technician role will focus on the electro/opto-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault-finding and documentation.
The successful Technician should bring the following skills & experience:
* An Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant industrial experience.
* Proficiency in electro-mechanical / opto-mechanical assembly techniques including soldering, wiring and cable/harness assembly.
* Some PCB repair skills.
* Good fault-finding and debugging skills.
* An understanding of clean room techniques.
* The ability to read schematics.
* A basic understanding of mechanical design software and appreciation of electronic principles.
