We are looking for two Production Technicians to join our team at Abernethy. This is a new and exciting opportunity, where you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our VFFS, check weighing and automated equipment.

At Branston, potatoes are our business, supplying both fresh and prepared products to one of the biggest retailers within the UK. The role is based at our Fresh factory, which has recently undergone huge developments, with new automation and machinery installed as part of our continuous improvement plans.

Your role as the Production Technician will include but is not limited to;

* Responsible for training all new starts on work instructions and procedures. Carrying out refresh training when needs are identified or there is a change in procedure.

* Ensure standard operation procedures are followed across all shifts.

* Be the first line of maintenance support for all Production operational equipment, escalating any issues to the maintenance team when required.

* Monitor data dashboards through operational runs and close down any issues.

* Review technical performance and feedback any improvement suggestions to Team Leader.

We have two shift patterns available, over a rotational 4/3 day week.

Shift A:

* Week 1 Mon/Tue/Wed 05:30-18:00 & Sun 05:30-17:00

* Week 2 Mon/Tue 05:30-18:00 & Sun 05:30-17:00

Shift B:

* Week 1 Thu/Fri 05:30-18:00 & Sat 05:30-17:00

* Week 2 Wed/Thu/Fri 05:30-18:00 & Sat 05:30-17:00

Do you offer?

* Effective problem solving skills

* Previous experience with VFFS equipment (preferred but not essential)
