Description:
Are you an experienced Production Operator? Do you consider yourself to be reliable and an asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around Hartlepool?
We have a temporary Production Team Member role available within TATA Steel's Hartlepool site. This site is responsible for the production of 220,000 tonnes of tube products annually which are used in construction, energy and engineering markets.
Role: Production Team Member
Location: TATA Steel, Hartlepool Works, Brenda Rd, Hartlepool TS25 2EG
Rate: £12.90ph (£26168 per annum)
Shift allowance applicable to designated shifts (not included above)
Contract length: 6 months initially
Shift Patterns: 39 hours per week, various shift timings (days and nights), therefore the need for full flexibility is imperative
Overtime avaibale
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities:
Supporting the department with the operation of a section of the production line
Ensuring the production line operates in the safest and most efficient way at all times
Adhering to UK Health and Safety legislation on every occasion
Maintaining the continuity of the production line
Supporting other parts of the production line as required to aid business needs
Providing full flexibility and reliability towards the shift pattern Essential requirements:
Strong communication skills
Able to work both day shifts and night shifts
Previous experience within a busy production environment
Self motivated and able to work on own initiative
Able to work as part of a team
Sound time management and critical thinking skills
Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation Desirable requirements:
Driving licence and use of a car
