Brixworth | Monday-Friday | 6am-2pm
£30,000 - £34,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Production Team Leader, Shift Supervisor or Manufacturing Team Leader looking for your next challenge?
We're recruiting on behalf of a highly successful international manufacturer seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to oversee a busy production and warehouse operation. This is an opportunity to join a growing business where you'll play a key role in driving performance, developing people and delivering operational excellence.
You'll lead a team across production and warehouse functions, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and customer delivery targets are consistently achieved.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:
Lead, motivate and develop production and warehouse personnel
Ensure all operations are carried out safely and in line with company procedures
Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost and people metrics
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor productivity, attendance, timekeeping and team performance
Support training and development across the team
Work closely with planning, operations and other departments to achieve production targets
Ensure smooth shift handovers and effective communication across the operation
Maintain high standards of workplace organisation, stock control and visual management
What We're Looking For
Previous experience leading teams within a manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environment
Strong people management and communication skills
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure
Experience using production, ERP/MRP or warehouse management systems
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Full UK Driving Licence
FLT Licence desirable but not essential
