Production Line Leader
This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day production line activities, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are met.
Location: Harrow
Salary: £15.38
Duties:
Supervising and supporting production line operators to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
Managing production machinery, line performance and changeovers to minimise downtime and product waste.
Ensuring all quality checks are completed and products meet required standards.
Maintaining health & safety, hygiene and 5S standards across the production line.
Monitoring production performance and reporting any issues or delays.
Ensuring production procedures and work instructions are followed correctly.
Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Warehouse teams to maintain efficient production.
Supporting staff training, development and performance management.
Completing shift handovers and production reports accurately.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
We require candidates with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, alongside experience leading or supervising a production team. Candidates should have strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with experience managing production line performance, changeovers and downtime.
