We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Team Leader to join a leading manufacturing business based in Bamber Bridge, Preston.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and engaging leader to take ownership of a production area, drive operational performance and support the development of a high-performing manufacturing team.
Working within a well-established manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and effective production of high-quality textile flooring products.
The Role:
Lead and support the day-to-day operation of the production area.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant, equipment and manufacturing processes.
Drive production performance, ensuring quality, output and delivery targets are achieved.
Coach, develop and support team members to improve capability and flexibility.
Work closely with technical, engineering and operational teams.
Lead problem-solving activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all production, quality and process documentation is completed to the required standards.
Promote a positive culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement.
About You:
Previous experience in a Production Team Leader, Production Supervisor or similar manufacturing leadership role.
Strong people-management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A good understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality and operational excellence.
A positive and resilient attitude, with the ability to lead through change and challenges.
What's on Offer:
Salary of up to £39,644 per annum, including shift allowance.
Permanent, full-time position.
40-hour working week.
Evening shift, Monday to Thursday, 14:00 - 00:00.
