Production Team leader
Location: Reading
Shift: Night Shift
Contract: 3 Month Contract
Pay Rate: £17.38 an hour (40 hours a week)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our manufacturing team on a 3-month contract, working nights. This is a hands-on role that will involve leading a team to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and support a team of production operatives throughout the shift.
Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved efficiently.
Monitor product quality and address any issues promptly.
Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture.
Conduct shift handovers and communicate effectively with other departments.
Manage staffing levels, workflow, and line performance to maximise productivity.
Support training and onboarding of new team members.
Complete all relevant production documentation accurately.About You:
Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Line Leader role within any enviroment,
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve effectively.
Good understanding of Health & Safety and quality procedures.
