The Role - Production Team Leader
We have an excellent opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join a prominent manufacturing business in the Tewkesbury area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people manager who is passionate about safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
You’ll deputise for the Production Manager, and be responsible for leading day-to-day production activities, driving KPI performance, developing your team, and ensuring products are delivered effectively.
Duties - Production Team Leader
Support factory planning activities.
Oversee a team of circa 15 operators.
Deputise for the Production Manager when required.
Ensure production KPIs and achieved.
Create solutions to production challenges and bottlenecks.
Plan labour requirements and proactively address resourcing concerns.
Ensure daily production output is accurately recorded and reported.
Carry out appraisals and performance reviews.
Lead root cause analysis activities.
Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with customer, quality, and industry standards.
Background - Production Team Leader
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership or line management experience.
Strong understanding of health and safety
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and lead teams effectively.
Continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset.
