Workshop Assistant
£14.03 per hour plus overtime - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Parking. Permanent position working 37 hrs per week between 7.30am to 5pm (can be flexible), Mon to Fri. Based in Keynsham
We are recruiting a Workshop Assistant / Production Support Operator for our well established and successful engineering company based in Keynsham, Bristol. Reporting to the Production Manager, this workshop based role is a new position within their assembly area and will be supporting the assembly and finishing of their products.
Duties will include:
Basic assembly work
Using hand and power tools (saws, grinders, drills etc)
Preparing assembly kits and picking parts
Loading and unloading (using forklift)
Assisting in stores
General workshop duties
The successful candidate will have previously worked in an engineering environment, or warehouse / stores role with good practical skills. You will ideally have forklift experience, however training will be provided. In addition it would be advantageous if you have a valid UK driving licence, however this is not essential.
