Description:
Through our continued project awards and strong order book, my client is looking for a Production Supervisor who will supervise a team of experienced operatives as well as team leaders whilst ensuring quality standards are being met.
A specialist business in the MCC and power control sector, working alongside an established team to deliver control system solutions to the water industry, including the management of asset replacements for control systems across the UK.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
* Planning of work activities to achieve deadlines.
* Checking that quality documentation is completed.
* Using and updating the company's house MRP system.
* Scheduling calibration and other equipment maintenance.
* Monitor and report on defects and non-conformances.
* Take part in and promote 5S activities.
* Check that works are being carried out to timescale and the required standard/quality
* Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set
What Do You Need?
* Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, ISO45001
* Health and Safety Experience (IOSH Managing Safety or Equivalent).
* Demonstrable experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing and/or FMCG environment
* Good technical background
* Full clean driving licence (Advantageous but not essential)
Salary £31,000. To £33,000. Industry-leading salary dependant on experience.
