Who are we?

Duties to Include:
* Motivate and drive forward the department to meet the output requirements.
* Organise and manage the assembly team- to include shift personnel.
* Organise holiday, sickness and weekend engineer callout cover.
* Work closely with the operations manager on any requirements for the department.
* Monitor and order any spare parts for the department.
* Monitor and support staff performance.
* Organise service engineer visits.
* Investigate and offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions.
* Assist in the assembly production where required
* Create/rewrite standard operating procedures.
Skills/Experience required:
* Experience of supervising and organising a production team in a 24/7 or shift type manufacturing environment.
* Be familiar with assembly technology and manufacturing equipment.
* 5-10 years experience of working in a high output production environment.
* A good mechanical aptitude and familiar with ISO 9001:2015
* Organised with excellent management skills.
* Willing to go the extra mile- you may be required to work outside of normal working hours to spend time with each shift on a regular basis.
