Permanent, full-time

4 days on, 4 days off | 5:30am–3:00pm | No night shifts

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor or Shift Manager looking for a permanent daytime role?

We’re recruiting for a well-established food manufacturer in Avonmouth that is looking for a confident, hands-on manager to lead its production team. This is a busy, fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, maintaining quality standards and supporting your team to perform at their best.

What you’ll be doing

Leading and motivating the production team throughout the shift

Ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are met

Monitoring productivity and addressing issues quickly

Managing performance, attendance and day-to-day employee matters

Training, developing and supporting production operatives

Coordinating with other departments to maintain an efficient production flow

Promoting a positive, safe and collaborative working environment

Providing additional cover during periods of holiday or absence when required

What we’re looking for

Previous experience leading a team within food manufacturing, production, warehousing or a similarly fast-paced environment

A hands-on and supportive management style

Experience managing performance, absence, inductions and training

The ability to remain organised and make confident decisions under pressure

Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail

A genuine focus on quality, productivity and teamwork

This role could suit an established Shift Manager or an experienced Production Supervisor who is ready to take the next step.
