Our client who is a prominent industry player within the Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical field are committed to excellence, innovation, and regulatory adherence, we are seeking a talented Production Shift Manager to lead their production teams in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
Lead and inspire production teams during assigned shifts, ensuring operational excellence.
Provide strong leadership, coaching, and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards within a Pharmaceutical environment.
Stay updated on industry regulations, implementing changes to maintain compliance.
Quality Assurance:
Oversee and enforce stringent quality control measures throughout the production process.
Implement corrective actions to address deviations and continuously improve quality systems.
Shift Planning and Coordination:
Plan and coordinate shift schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet production demands.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and maintain production efficiency.
Training and Development:
Facilitate ongoing training programs for production staff, keeping them informed about regulatory updates and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Experience required:
Proven experience as a Production Shift Manager in regulated industries (similar to GMP, Pharma, Biotechnology, Chemical, Process Plant, Distillery Plant or COMAH regulated environment).
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and quality standards.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing production teams.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
