Description:
At this thriving production facility that is currently enjoying continued growth, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Production Shift Manager to join the team.
A key focus of this role will be to develop the operating team skills to improve overall capabilities and efficiency.
As Production Shift Manager, typical responsibilities will be to: -
Manage the manufacturing operation to deliver operational performance against manufacturing KPI's in EHS, OEE, quality and reliability.
Lead the shift team of twelve to convert production plans into operational output, coordinating resources for normal production activity, planned machine shutdowns and breakdown situations.
Analyse and resolve process, equipment or quality issues within the plant to maintain productivity continuity.
Control all third-party contractor activity within your area of responsibility.
Lead manufacturing improvement activities.
Ensure safe operations and environmental compliance at all times by formulating and implementing safe, risk assessed working procedures.The successful candidate will: -
Have gained their experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally chemical.
Enjoy training, coaching and developing a team.
Have excellent IT skills.
Be highly organised.On offer: -
A salary to £52,000
Shift allowance to £9,000
30 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
