Production Shift Leader
Starting Salary: £36,231.33 per annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly shifts, 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
Full Time, Permanent.
We are recruiting for an experienced Production Shift Leader to join our well established client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to manage production teams, drive operational performance, and ensure the safe, efficient delivery of production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, coach and develop production teams to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and promote a positive safety culture.
Manage team performance, attendance, training, and development.
Coordinate shift activities to meet production schedules and KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Complete production reporting and maintain accurate records.
Work closely with other departments to support operational performance.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Production Shift Leader, Team Leader, or Supervisory role within manufacturing.
IOSH qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is advantageous.
Positive, proactive, and able to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
