Production Scheduler
Salary: £34,000 (rising to £36,000 after probation)
We're looking for a Production Scheduler to join the team. This is a hands-on role, working closely with management and production to keep things running smoothly.
What the role involves
Creating and managing production schedules
Keeping track of work to lists (WTL)
Working with production teams to make sure jobs move through the process efficiently
Updating schedules when priorities change
Supporting general planning and organisation on the shop floor
Following all safety procedures and 5S standards
What we're looking for
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within manufacturing
Good understanding of scheduling and MRP systems
Knowledge of how production flows from raw material through to finished product
Experience with production routing and operations
Confident using computers, especially Excel
Able to work closely with others and communicate clearly
This role is mainly based on the production side, so you'll need to be comfortable working on the shop floor and dealing with day-to-day changes.
