Production Scheduler

Position: Production Scheduler

Salary: up to £35,000.

Location: Sandy

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduler to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Sandy.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Production Scheduler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

Data entry and management within the business ERP system.
Creation and collation of manufacturing works orders and schedules for the metal shop processes.
Planning and requesting via purchasing raw materials in line with the production schedules.
Pre checking / amending work order requirements prior to final production release.
Monitor progress to schedules with the Metal Shop supervision.
Liaising between the different departments within the company.
Regularly co-ordinate with planning department regarding the overall production schedule.
Creation and collation of manufacturing works orders and schedules for the metal shop processes.
In conjunction with the Metal Shop supervision monitor the adherence to the schedules and adjust where required to make effective use of resources (machines and people)
Ensure that the company works order system is used correctly to enable product traceability, printing and collating picking schedules making sure that we are working to the correct revision.
Pre checking / amending work order requirements prior to final production release.
Stock control of raw materials including safety stocks, monitor and report to purchasing any shortages / issues.
Work closely with the other departments of the business to share information in a timely manner.Experience:

Use of ERP/MRP System
Previous Planning, Scheduling or administrative role
Worked in a manufacturing environment
Numerate and accurate
