Production Quality Engineer urgently required to work for a world leading manufacturing company based near Sandhurst. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global organisation to be involved on projects within Defence, Oil and Gas and Energy industries, where you will be in charge of ensuring that all products are meeting the customer specification and suggesting quality improvements for production. It's a very dynamic role where you will be liaising with different departments across the business: Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and Toolroom in order to resolve any issue or concern involving the processes.

This is the opportunity to work on New Product Introduction where you will be expected to improve the activities on projects, reduce operating costs and improve the quality of the products.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaising with production, quality and engineering teams to review processes and quality standards.
Make recommendations to modify product and process specifications and tolerances as necessary to support cost effective production.
Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerancing, and materials related issues implementing action plans
Assisting NPI department in pre-production process ensuring quality excellence is achieved on product prior to release to production.
Making use of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) where required.
Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and effective corrective action.
Managing and reporting the production key performance indicators (KPI's)
Improving quality performance, increasing customer satisfaction, and reding costs.
Performing supplier audits as required and provide ongoing communication/reporting of results.
Participate in the reporting, analysis and review of product and process performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Supporting mechanical inspection quality decisions and investigations
Managing non-conformance reporting (NCR).
