Production Supervisor

Salary: £32,500 per year

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Are you a hands-on production leader who enjoys organising people, solving problems and keeping work moving? We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day production, support the warehouse team and help maintain a safe, well-run site.

This is a varied role for someone who is comfortable on the production floor, confident leading a team and keen to improve how things are done.

What you’ll be doing

Planning and scheduling weekly production activity.
Leading production and warehouse staff, making the best use of the team’s skills.
Keeping customer deliveries on track and working towards on-time, in-full targets.
Monitoring productivity, product quality and working standards.
Coordinating maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
Leading day-to-day health and safety activity and ensuring procedures are followed.
Helping manage site maintenance, waste reduction and recycling.
Taking on key holder responsibilities. 

About you

You’ll have hands-on experience in a production environment and previous responsibility for supervising or managing a team.
You’ll be organised, practical and able to balance daily priorities while keeping an eye on quality, safety and delivery deadlines
Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and lean manufacturing would be valuable.
Due to location drivers licence is required
Knowledge of the paper industry or FSC standards would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
