Production Planning Engineer
Barnsley | £40,000 – £55,000 DOE | Permanent
Looking for a role where you can shape how things get made, not just keep the line moving? Lodestone Recruitment is partnered with the business to find a Fabrication Production Engineer who can bridge the gap between the office and the shop floor. You’ll have real influence over how production is planned and run, and a clear path to progress into Production Manager.
The Role:
You will be the link between the office and the shop floor, making sure production runs smoothly from plan to finished product.
In the day to day you will:
Plan and coordinate production schedules.
Assess and improve manufacturing methods.
Identify and resolve issues on the shop floor.
What You Will Need:
A Fabrication Related Apprenticeship.
Production Planning Experience.
Strong Excel Skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of costing (desirable).
