Job Elements
* Liaise with sales department to determine customer requirements
* Develop and manage the production schedule in line with customer requirement dates, ensuring products are ready to meet this date
* Develop daily and weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met
* Determine material, equipment and labour requirements
* Prepare status and performance reports and resolve production issues
* Maintain, update and communicate the daily plan and associated process documents as required
* Liaise with the Raw Materials Team to ensure the availability of materials
* Liaise with Internal Sales and Transport Teams to ensure customer requirements are on schedule
* React accordingly to changes in customer demand
* Support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation, with an emphasis on embracing technology to maximise efficiency
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a fast paced Manufacturing Supply Chain environment - ideally food or food packaging manufacturing or equivalent
* Full understanding of capacity and resource planning
* Use of SAGE or other relevant ERP based platforms
* Works effectively - tackling immediate demands decisively, whilst retaining a broad awareness of emerging requirements.
* Good IT Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) with the ability to learn and use business specific applications
