We are currently seeking a talented Production Planner to join our dynamic team in Greenford.
As a Production Planner, you will align daily sales forecasting with operations across two depots to maintain a rolling six-week production plan. You will publish a weekly seven-day production plan, addressing risks and seizing opportunities for better delivery. You will also analyse and manage discrepancies between orders and forecasts proactively. You will anticipate and resolve supply issues, ensuring quality, labour, and equipment standards are met. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust daily production plans for optimal delivery. You will ensure an accurate Bill of Materials and utilise the ERP system efficiently for communication. You will maintain product quality knowledge and optimize FIFO allocation. You will also develop and maintain capacity planning frameworks and SOPs, focusing on yield and waste control.
Hours of Work: Full Time
Salary: Up to£40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Production Planner Requirements:
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
Masters degree in Planning or Supply Chain Management
Knowledge of SQL
Hands on experience in complex FMCG manufacturing environment
Utilising Lean Manufacturing methodology with minimum 2 years continuous work experience
Demonstration and utilisation of 'Just in Time' principles.
Demonstration and application of Theory of Constraints methodology.
Highly proficient with IT systems
Efficient large data handling and statistical management
Ability to present, manage and contribute to complex, agile decision making processes
Strong communication skills developed from working within a demanding industry and business
Fluent English - Both written & verbal.
Flexible to travel to other sites
