Production Planner – Bindery
Our client, a hugely successful and well-established manufacturer based in Bungay, are currently seeking a Production Planner to join their team.
This is a full-time position, working on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.
Shift Pattern:
Weekly alternating shift pattern, Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential so that you can liaise effectively within your team, with factory managers and machine operators to build good working relationships.
* Confidence in using IT systems is essential with willingness to learn bespoke systems.
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be preferable but is not essential.
* This is an opportunity to be an active team player who is happy to support and be supported in our Production Control department.
* You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Work well under pressure and react quickly to ever-changing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all tasks involved in scheduling the workflow throughout the factory.
* Ensuring that the production plan meets the customer’s requirements whilst planning for maximum productivity.
* Working closely with the Capacity Planners (who load the relevant work to the correct machines and set the masterplan for the forthcoming weeks).
* Tracking the machines and setting the production plan for the next 24 hours.
