Production Operator

Are you looking for work in the Greenfield (CH8) area? We are proud to be recruiting for our well-established client for Production Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis.

Pay & Hours of Work

Various shifts available - Static shifts possibly considered for the right candidates, however flexibility to work all shifts is preferred

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 08:15-17:00 and Friday 08:15-13:00 (£12.00 Per Hour)

3x shift rotation:

·Week.1: Monday to Friday 6:00-14:00 (£12.00 Per Hour)

·Week.2: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00 (£13.80 Per Hour)

·Week.3: Sunday to Friday morning 22:00-06:00 (£15.96 Per Hour)

(Initially whilst training, you will work a 2-shift pattern. Then once training has been completed you will move onto the 3-shift pattern).

There is a Bus stop close to the location of the site – Buses 11C, 11F, 11M, 11X, 18

Responsibilities

·Planning and organisation of work.

·Understanding of works orders, interpretation of drawings and route cards.

·Core forming, auto gill cutting, manual mesh rolling, press operation and spot welding.

·Material handling and identification.

·Monitoring and maintaining mesh quality.

·Periodic mesh inspection and recording of dimensional, weight parameters.

·Packing mesh components if necessary.

Essential Skills

·Previous experience within a production environment is desirable, although full training will be provided.

·Able to understand basic engineering drawings.

·Familiar with working in an engineering production environment.

·Excellent attention to detail.

·Good communication skills, especially verbal.

·Willing to work overtime as and when required.
