Description:

We’re on the lookout for people who are keen to forge a career as Production Operators, where they will have the chance to grow both personally and professionally in a highly specialised industry with a rapidly (and we mean rapidly!) growing company.

Our client’s foundry and production facility is top-tier and they are genuine world-leaders in what they do, producing specialist metal alloy products from alloys that they formulate in their own foundry.

If you don’t have previous experience in a foundry, don’t worry! They provide comprehensive training to broaden your skill set and will get you up to speed in around three months. Once trained, you’ll be part of the rotating shift system, with shifts alternating weekly between 12-hour day and night shifts from Monday to Thursday, along with a paid one-hour break each day. Flexibility is also offered on the shift system, so let us know what you are looking for.

The benefits package is pretty good too, with a starting rate of £12.25 per hour (which increases with experience and skills) and a 15% shift bonus for night shifts. Plus, there’s an enticing company bonus scheme (based on company performance), a personal bonus scheme (based on your productivity which increases as you gain more skills), a generous pension plan, and annual leave allowance (starting at 25 days) which increases with each year of service. Not to mention the free tea, coffee, and milk in our on-site canteen and break rooms – because any team needs to be kept fuelled and happy!

Our client is a firm believer in investing in people. Their goal is to support you in reaching your full potential and leading a fulfilling life, both personally and professionally. And, to make your journey with them even more enjoyable, they offer company social events, a cycle to work scheme, and a comprehensive health & wellbeing program. They also allocate a £1,000 per employee per year training and development budget to help you make the most of your career.

Oh, that’s something else; if you’re just looking for a job, this one isn’t for you. Our client is looking for people who want to carve out a real career, and they offer great progression opportunities for those who want it.

In terms of requirements, we’re seeking individuals with excellent communication skills, manual handling proficiency, and a positive attitude towards work and learning. While experience with molten metal or possessing a forklift truck license would be advantageous, they’re not mandatory as full training will be provided. What is most important is your commitment to quality. Our client’s products are very specialised, so sticking precisely to production schematics is essential. An eye for detail will come in handy.

So, if you’re ready to embark on an exciting career journey, we’d love to hear from you
