Production Operator - Inverness, UK
(Shift pattern days and nights)

Job Responsibilities
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently in line with standard operating procedures.
Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance tasks to keep machinery running to specification.
Monitor production output and quality, reporting any issues promptly to the relevant lead.
Follow health and safety procedures, including safe working practices and correct use of PPE.
Complete production documentation accurately, including batch/shift records where required.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Work effectively with colleagues across the shift to maintain smooth production flow.
Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with housekeeping standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions accurately.
Good understanding of health and safety practices, including safe systems of work.
Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine checks on equipment.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to report issues clearly.
Numeracy and literacy skills sufficient to complete production records.
Experience working with manufacturing processes and production targets (advantageous).
Relevant safety training such as manual handling and/or COSHH awareness (advantageous).
