Description:

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for numerous Production Operatives, for a client located in Sedgefield. These roles will be temp to perm for the right candidates. Joining their growing production team and increasing manufacturing capability at their world class manufacturing facility in the UK.

This is a varied role, for which you will be trained to perform several processes and will work on a range of products. As a part of the team, you will be able to develop your own skills and gain experience whilst working at a world-class manufacturing facility with the support of experienced colleagues.

Purpose of the role:

Build, assemble and test of electronics products to the required standard ensuring completion of all appropriate production documentation.
Tasks will be assigned by the Lead Operators and will encompass manual assembly tasks and the operation of automated assembly equipment.Production Operative Main Duties & Responsibilities:

To undertake assigned tasks, both manual and automated assembly tasks.
Operation of automated machinery.
Self-inspection of own work in line with documentation.
Data collection and completion of production paperwork.
Maintaining traceability of components and parts where required.
Actively participate in continuous improvements.
Ensuring safe working practices are maintained and the Health and Safety Policy is adhered to at all times.
Ensuring appropriate PPE is used at all times.
Adherence to cleanroom protocol and maintenance of high standard of housekeeping.Production Operative Applicants:

Quality driven individual.
Enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and a team worker.
Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity skills.
Basis IT knowledge.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to undertake any shift pattern, to suit business needs.Desirable:

Experience of manual assembly tasks and inspection skills.
Experience of operating automated assembly equipment.Shifts:

Initially starting on Days (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm) then moving onto a buddy training system working any of the following shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am shifts, 4-on-4-off (7am-7pm), continental shift pattern of 2-days and 2-nights (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am).

Hourly rates:

Days: £11.54

6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm: £12.98

10pm-6am: £13.85

4-on-4-off: £14.17

Continentals (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am): £15
