Production Operative - Rotating Shifts
Location: Auld Bond Road, Perth
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour plus 20% shift allowance (est. £15.84 p/h)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
Early Shift: 06:00 to 14:30
Back Shift: 13:30 to 22:00Start Date: Immediate starts available
The Role
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment operating on a rotating shift pattern.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals who enjoy working within a fast-paced production setting. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
Follow established operating procedures and work instructions.
Monitor products throughout the manufacturing process and identify defects.
Carry out basic machine adjustments and report faults or breakdowns to supervisors.
Complete production activities in line with daily schedules and targets.
Accurately complete documentation and production records.
Collect and prepare materials required for production operations.
Package products to required standards.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and operational goals.
Assist with stock and inventory activities when required.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
The ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic numeracy skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
A good work ethic and reliable attendance record.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
