Production Operative
Location: Brierley Hill
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £14.24 per hour after 12 weeks on double days
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent opportunities available
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Brierley Hill.
This is a varied role where you will be trained across different areas of production, making it ideal for candidates with previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse or other hands-on roles.
The Role
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
Trimming and finishing manufactured components
Carrying out visual quality inspections to ensure products meet the required standards
Assembling components using basic hand tools and production equipment
Operating a press to fit fixings into components
Identifying and reporting any faults or defects
Packing finished products ready for dispatch
Completing production paperwork and recording quantities produced
Learning and operating the basic controls of production machinery
Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
Moving between different areas of production depending on business requirements
Full training will be provided. However, you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, meeting production targets and moving between different tasks throughout the day.
Hours of Work
Double Days:
Monday to Thursday:
5:40am - 1:50pm / 1:40pm - 9:50pm
Friday:
5:40am - 11:30am / 11:20am - 5:10pm
You will rotate between the early and late shifts.
Pay Rates
First 12 Weeks:
£12.71 per hour
After 12 Weeks:
£14.24 per hour
