Production Operative – Print Manufacturing
Location: Normanton, WF6
Shifts: Part-time / Ad-hoc – Day or Night Shifts Available
Pay: £12.44 per hour – weekly pay plus accrued holiday pay
Our client, a busy print manufacturing company based in Normanton, is currently recruiting Production Operatives to support ongoing workload within their bindery department.
This is a hands-on role working as part of a production team, offering flexible ad-hoc shifts on either days or nights. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for additional hours or flexible working arrangements.
The Role
You will be working within the bindery department, supporting the production of magazines by:
* Loading magazine sections into binding machinery
* Stacking finished magazines onto pallets
* Assisting with general production duties as required
* Supporting the team to maintain workflow and meet production targets
At times, you may be required to work independently, using your own initiative to complete tasks and maintain production standards.
This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment, so you will need to be comfortable working to deadlines, following procedures and adapting to different tasks.
Shift Availability
Shifts are available on either days or nights – there is no rotating shift pattern.
Available shifts:
* Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00
* Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00
Key Requirements
* Ability to work quickly and safely to meet production targets
* Comfortable following procedures, including scanning of work
* Able to work as part of a team or independently when required
* Good understanding of health & safety practices
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area
* Willingness to assist with other duties as needed
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Reliable, proactive and able to use initiative
