Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Midford, Bath
Pay Rate: £15.14 per hour
Type: Temporary ongoing
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Our client Cross Manufacturing, based in Midford, Bath, is looking to recruit additional Production Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team.
Cross Manufacturing is a world-leading manufacturer of precision components, supplying products into the aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors.
As a Production Operative, you will be working within different areas of production, initially supporting the Winding department. The role will involve a mixture of manual work, operating machinery, quality checking, and producing components to a high standard.
Duties will include:
Operating machinery following training
Producing components to required specifications
Carrying out quality checks and inspections
Using measuring equipment
Completing production paperwork
Following health & safety procedures
Working as part of a team to achieve production targetsThe role requires someone who is:
Reliable and hardworking
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment
Able to work accurately with good attention to detail
Happy working with machinery and learning new skills
Able to work independently as well as part of a teamPrevious experience within production, manufacturing, engineering, or a similar hands-on role would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
