Production Operative

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operative on a 2 Shift pattern (6am-2pm and then 2pm-10pm) to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting food production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality output. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the food industry and seeking to develop their mechanical and operational skills within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards

* Assist in the preparation and assembly of products, adhering to specified recipes and procedures

* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any faults or issues

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area to meet hygiene regulations

* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently and safely

Requirements

* Previous experience is highly desirable

* Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is advantageous for troubleshooting machinery issues

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to perform basic maths accurately for measurements and calculations

* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late shifts if necessary
