Production Operative

Impact Recruitment are currently working with a well-established injection moulding manufacturer based in Corby who are looking to recruit two Production Operatives to join their weekend night shift. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering excellent work-life balance, a competitive starting salary, and a clear pay increase following a successful probation period.

Location: Corby
Hours: Friday to Sunday, 18:00 - 06:00 (36 hours per week)
Pay: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £14.50 per hour after a successful 4-month probation (subject to attendance and performance)
Training: Six days of paid day-shift training over two weeks before moving onto the permanent weekend night shift
Contract: Temp to Perm

Duties:

Operate and monitor injection moulding machinery throughout the shift
Unload finished products from machinery
Carry out visual quality inspections to ensure products meet specification
Report any machine faults or production issues to the relevant supervisor
Pack finished products ready for dispatch
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Follow all health & safety and production proceduresThe ideal candidate must:

Have previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Be reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
Be physically fit and comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
Have a good eye for detail and a quality-focused approach
Be willing to learn and follow established production procedures
