GI Group are currently recruiting for experienced Production Operatives on behalf of our client based in the Sheffield, S3 area.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:30. 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Job Types: Temporary - Permanent.
Hourly Rate:
£11.44 per hour.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The role will include duties such as:
- You will be involved in basic builds, assisting with the production of items.
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Moving stock around by hand
- Picking and packing online orders
- Loading goods for dispatch and moving stock around the shop floor.
Essential Skills Required:
- Previous experience working in a fast paced assembly/packing environment.
- Accuracy in all tasks and measurements, and a high grade of work.
- Be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used.
- Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation.
- Be competent at working alone or as part of a team.
- Confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department.
- Be aware of all company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.
