Description:
Due to expansion an experienced Production Operative is required for a new role working for a well-established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. The starting rate of pay is £12.00 per hour, rising to £15.69 per hour after 12 weeks, with the top end rate of pay going to £16.13 per hour once fully trained.
For the first 12 weeks you will be training on day shifts (8.00am-4.30pm), but after 12 weeks you will move onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift.
As a Production Operative, you will be required to:
Putting manufactured components through the next stage of manufacturing
Checking the parts against technical drawings
Ensuring the machines are running correctly
Addressing any quality issues with the manufacturing department
Ensured that all components meet the required customer standard before they progress to production.

Previous experience with Sheet Metal, Stainless Steel or Aluminium
Good numerical skills
Experience with technical/engineering drawings
