If yes, we would love to hear from you! Our client near St Neots is looking for a Production Operative.

The Production Operatives in our Bespoke department undertake work in line with the Production Schedule in order to meet customer delivery dates whilst ensuring high levels of quality at all times.

Days/Hours: Monday – Friday/alternating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm.

Salary: £23,920 plus per annum depending on experience

Production Operative Responsibilities:

Operating machinery including the Zund cutting machines, Summa Plotter
Undertaking bespoke hand finishing tasks including plotting, weeding and mounting.
Operating the Colorado Printer
Operating the Seal Laminator
Packing materials to their different specifications where applicable.
Prioritising work based on the Production schedule to ensure products are completed and ready to be passed to the next team in the production process on time and to specification.
Responsibility for adhering to departmental procedures & housekeeping including the machines
Understanding the requirements of every job and ensuring all materials are correct and present
Ensuring products are of a high quality by undertaking thorough inspections and reporting defects to management in order to reduce reprints.
Production Operative Personal Attributes:

No experience required - Training will be provided
Must hold a valid driving licence
Team Player
Computer literate
Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)
High attention to detail
Successful individuals will be expected to be driven, self-motivating and hungry to learn a new skill/industry.
