Production Operative

Description:

KFM are recruiting for a Production Operative based a short walk from the centre of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a role with a well-established company, offering stability and the chance to go permanent.

Benefits:

⦁ Monday to Friday
⦁ Day shifts on weekly rotation (8:30–16:30 / 9:30–17:30 / 10:00–18:00)
⦁ Overtime available at 1.5x pay
⦁ Weekly pay
⦁ £13.23 Per hour + Holiday Pay
⦁ Temporary to permanent

The Role:

⦁ Working as part of a team operating production machinery
⦁ Operating machinery which may include guillotines, embossing, laminating, envelope and coating machinery
⦁ Operating lifting and handling equipment, including Power Pallet Trucks and Hand Pallet Trucks
⦁ Maintaining high levels of Quality Control throughout the production process
⦁ Working effectively and safely in line with all Health & Safety requirements

The Person:

⦁ Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
⦁ Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
⦁ Self-disciplined, methodical and organised, with the ability to manage workload, quality and output
⦁ Basic mechanical knowledge for carrying out machine maintenance
