Logistics People are looking for Production Operatives/Factory Operatives/Factory Worker/Line Operative/Production Team Member/General Production Operative to join our team.
Location: Dudley
Working Hours:
5 Out of 7 AM And PM Shifts Available
Pay rate: £11.44 P/hr
Position: Production Operative
Logistics People are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join our team in Dudley, based at our IPS site.
As a Production Operative for Logistics People your role will consist of various duties including but not limited to:
Packing orders in preparation for shipping.
Working as a team on a Production Line.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including sweeping and disposing of debris.
Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail.
Handling mostly light weight product
Assisting with other duties as assigned by Line Leaders.
Participating in any required training sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.
Following all Safe Systems of Work and procedures
Reporting any near miss incidents, hazards or defective equipment at any time
Reporting any accidents and supporting investigations
Adhering to all Quality procedures.
Reporting to Line Leader any faults in packed product e.g. poor seals, coding difficult to read or missing
Checking products and ensuring the right quality is packed
Checking dates on incoming products for the Line Leaders
Ensuring pallet layout is correct
Keeping the line tidy – it keeps it safer and protects the product from foreign matter contamination
Following personal hygiene rules e.g. hand washing and not taking loose items into the factory Following all Standard Operating Procedures Working at the required rate to achieve the line target Keeping time is expected at shift starts and breaks
Working on your line area

Able to comply with Health and Safety policies on site.
Ability to work accurately and methodically.
