Production Operative
Chilled Food | Permanent, Full-time | Kent
£13.01 per hour, plus a £1 per hour attendance bonus (up to £14.01 per hour)
40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 3:30pm
Join a production team making chilled food products in a high-care environment. You will help prepare ingredients, assemble and pack products to specification, and maintain high standards of food safety, quality and cleanliness.
What you will do:
* Prepare ingredients and check they are stored, rotated and labelled correctly.
* Assemble products in the correct order, following work instructions.
* Pack and label finished products accurately to customer specifications.
* Check product quality and report damaged or unsuitable ingredients.
* Follow hygiene, safety, allergen-control and PPE procedures.
* Keep production areas clean, complete production paperwork and report equipment faults.
* Support quality checks and technical swabbing when required and under guidance.
What you will bring:
* A reliable, careful approach and the ability to follow instructions consistently.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to safe, hygienic working.
* Food production or food-hygiene experience is helpful, but not essential; training will be provided.
Pay and benefits:
* Basic rate: £13.01 per hour.
* Additional £1 per hour attendance bonus, subject to the applicable attendance criteria.
* 25 days annual holiday and a regular weekday working pattern.
* Permanent role with training provided.
