We are recruiting at our Telford Dairy for Production Operatives.  Production Operatives play an essential part in the supply chain, they use their Technical skills to drive a Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and People culture, using data to effectively improve machine performance. This role involves working on a 4 on 4 off basis- days and nights (shift pattern).  We offer a competitive salary, life assurance, holiday, pension and a Müller Rewards discount scheme offering over 800 discounts online and instore and the potential to make savings across grocery and clothes shopping.

Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights 

Salary - £28,875 per annum

Production Operator - Role & Responsibilities:

Operating state of the art filling line with a high level of personal safety and others
Continually ensuring hygiene and housekeeping on your line consistently achieves target Good Manufacturing Practices score as a minimum.
Fully complete all paperwork ensuring it is legible, accurate and audit ready
Achieving operational targets and being accountable for achieving all KPI’s
Analyse and adhering to a live production plan
Identify training needs for career advancement supported by a personal development plan
Minimise the Cost of Non-Quality through adherence to right first-time production, reducing rework
Working closely with colleagues in the supporting departments to align with the daily planning needs, new product launches and operational events
Propose and implement solutions to continually improve  

Production Operator - Key skills & experience:

Health and Food Safety understanding
Dairy knowledge awareness desirable but not essential
Material and waste flow understanding
Ability to build effective relations with colleagues and functions at all levels via excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Good understanding and the ability to follow site wide procedures
Technical/mechanical mindset
