Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer supplying precision components to the aerospace industry, based on the outskirts of Bridgwater.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, modern manufacturing facility where you'll support the production, assembly and finishing of high-specification aerospace components.

Full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience, as well as those looking to start or develop a career within aerospace manufacturing.

What We Offer

£14.63 per hour.
Monday to Friday working.
Rotating shift pattern:
6am-2pm
2pm-10pm
Temporary to permanent opportunity.
Immediate starts available.
No weekend working.
Overtime opportunities once fully trained.
Full training provided.
Opportunity to progress into specialist production departments.
Potential for permanent employment following successful probation.

Key Duties

Operate production machinery and supporting equipment following full training.
Use hand tools to complete production and assembly tasks.
Assist with the assembly and finishing of aerospace components.
Work across different production departments as required.
Follow production processes and work instructions accurately.
Carry out tasks to required quality standards.
Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
Work effectively as part of a team to maintain production efficiency.
Adapt to changing priorities and learn new production processes.

Requirements

Previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience is beneficial but not essential.
Good manual dexterity and confidence using hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow instructions and established production processes.
Reliable and motivated approach to work.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills.
Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
